Hello and Happy Grand Opening Presotea Torrance!

Hello and Happy Grand Opening Presotea Torrance!

I love boba and I’m thrilled to see a new boba spot open up in Torrance, California. Now open at Village Del Amo is the newest Presotea. Presotea Torrance is celebrating their grand opening today; November 14, 2021 and the first 100 people can get free boba!

Presotea first started in 2006 and now has several locations around Southern California. What makes their tea so good is how each drink is freshly made using high temp to extract the tea leaves. The freshness of the drink really comes out.

They have an extensive menu that includes milk teas, fresh teas, fruit teas, coffee, blended drinks and brown sugar drinks. One can get topping of black pearl, grass jelly, lychee coconut jelly, pudding, panda pearl, aloe vera, crystal boba, sea cream, creme brûlée and organic fresh cream.

From the milk teas; my two favorites include the Thai Pearl Milk Tea and the Panda Milk Tea.

The Thai Pearl Milk Tea is just like a traditional Thai Tea drink. One can really taste the fresh tea leaves in this one. It’s very refreshing and flavorful.

The Panda Pearl Milk Tea is a unique and awesome boba drink, It’s called Panda because it has black and white boba. The black and white is just like a panda. Double the boba and double the fun.

From their brown sugar drinks; my favorite is the Brown Sugar Creme Brûlée. It’s sweet dessert in drink form. I love Creme brûlée and love how this drink has that perfect rich custard flavor.

Presotea is a definite must try and today and tomorrow are the perfect days to check out Presotea! For their grand opening today; the first 100 people will get a free drink! After 100 people today; it will then be buy 1, get 1 drinks for the rest of the day and tomorrow. Smile and enjoy Hello Kitty Foodies!

Hello Kitty x Tea Drops!

Hello Kitty x Tea Drops!

I’ve always loved tea! Whether hot tea or iced tea; I am a fan ☺️. One of my favorite things to do is sip a warm cup of tea while reading a good books. I also love iced tea and enjoying a sweet tea drink. Thus; I was so excited to hear Tea Drops is collaborating with Sanrio! Two of my favorite: tea and Hello Kitty are coming together!

Tea Drops is an amazing company that offers quality organic, whole leaf tea and now their teas are even more special and extra kawaii with teas inspired by our favorite; Hello Kitty! This past November 2; a special launch at the Hello Kitty Cafe was held to celebrate these teas.

The hot teas from the Tea Drops x Hello Kitty collection consist of three Hello Kitty inspired flavors: Apple Pie a La Mode, English Breakfast and Strawberry Matcha. Each of the teas consist of a Hello Kitty shaped tea bomb that is super kawaii and super easy to use! Just drop in hot water and you’re off to sipping some delightful tea!

Mama’s Apple Pie is one of my favorites! Hello Kitty loves Mama’s Apple Pie and the Apple Pie a La Mode tea sure will be a favorite for other Hello Kitty fans too! It has notes of apple, cinnamon, nutmeg and vanilla.

The English Breakfast is another yummy offering that is the perfect way to start a kawaii day!

Last but definitely not least for the hot teas is the Strawberry Matcha. Who remembers the sweet scented erasers from the Sanrio store? This tea brings me back to my childhood with its sweet strawberry aroma.

The Tea Drops x Hello Kitty collaboration does not end with the hot teas though because there is more! This collaboration also has bubble tea!

There is a very special Bubble Tea Kit with English breakfast tea, tapioca pearls and a reusable rose gold straw. It’s no secret that I love bubble tea and am so happy with this Hello Kitty inspired kit!

Hello Prima Cafe!

Hello Prima Cafe!

Hello Kitty Foodie always sippin’ bubble tea! It’s no secret that I love boba and I also love discovering new bubble places! I am thus so happy that I was able to visit the new Prima Cafe that just opened up in Lomita, California.

Prima Cafe has an amazing line up of coffees, brewed teas, flavored iced teas and milk teas. They also have macarons and cookies to pair with your favorite drink! Yum!

I love how this South Bay cafe has drink names that represent the South Bay! You can find “The Peninsula”, “The Golden Cove” and even “PCH” on their menu! Being a South Bay native; I love the nod to the local places.

The other thing that I love about this place is how they have such tasty and unique combos and flavors. My current favorite is their White Rabbit! Yes! White Rabbit named just like the original milky sweet candy from China. The White Rabbit consists of White Peach, Lychee, and Kumquat infused with Jasmine Green Tea and paired with Lychee Jelly.

⁣I love the pairing of the different flavors! Peach is one of my all time favorite flavors and this just had the right peachy hint! I also really enjoyed the lychee and lychee jelly! Last but not least; I liked the citrus flavor that the kumquat gave. It is so refreshing for Spring days!

I’m always happy to be “Sippin’ bubble tea” and so even happier to see a new place in the South Bay!

Hello Boba @ Home!

Hello Boba @ Home!

I am a big fan of boba. I love enjoying a bubble tea with my family and friends and trying out the different flavors of tea and coffee with the chewy tapioca pearls. With LA County still having a Safer at Home order however; trips to the boba shop are a bit more sparse. Thankfully though I can still get my boba fix via C Tea Shop’s Boba Kits!

I first discovered C Tea Shop when they partnered with my one of my favorite IG boba buddies; Bitsy Boba. Bitsy Boba along with with So Cali Boba and C Tea Shop came together for one of Bitsy Boba’s 12 Day of Boba Giveaways. I was one of the lucky winners of Day 8 and the prize pack included C Tea Shop’s Original Boba Kit and 2 of Bitsy Boba’s heart straws.

Being a boba lover; I was so happy to receive this box of happiness! Inside the boba kit was Tapioca Boba package, Coconut Milk Tea Powder, Taro Milk Tea Powder, Vanilla Milk Tea Powder and Black Milk Tea Powder.⁣

I was soon off to making boba at home. The process was fun and quite easy! In a nutshell in consisted of adding tapioca to boiling water, mixing in brown sugar or honey with tapioca and then blending the flavor mixtures with milk. In less than 25 minutes I had myself a lovely and refreshing boba treat right at home.

My favorite boba creation was the Taro Boba Tea. Taro is one of my go-to boba flavors and so I was super excited to try this flavor at home. C Tea Shop definitely did not disappoint with their taro flavor and their boba balls. The taro itself had a nice sweet and nutty flavor. The boba was chewy and soft. Together; the taro tea and boba came together for the perfect drink at home. The drink was very much comparable to some of my favorite boba drinks that I’ve had at some of the local cafes.

Another boba creation I enjoyed was the Coconut Boba Tea! Ooh I was such a fan of this. It gave me the all the tropical feels and made me feel like I was at a beach in Hawaii.

It’s so exciting to be my own Bobarista. I can’t believe how quick and easy it was to make my favorite boba drinks at the comfort of my home. I am super excited to be making more boba drinks in the comfort of my own kitchen. C Tea Shop’s boba kits have so many different flavors. My first kit had four flavors but there’s actually plenty more that C Tea Shop has to offers There’s Almond, Black Tea, Black Rose, Coconut, Thai, Taro and Matcha.

I also really loved using the cute and colorful boba straws from Bitsy Boba! The reusable boba straws add a bit more fun and color to the drink! They’re perfect for drinking these tasty drinks.

If you too would like to try making your own boba at home; do check out C Tea Shop and Bitsy Boba.

Hello Cafe Pruvia!

Hello Cafe Pruvia!

It’s no secret that I love coffee cafes and I also love boba. I was thus happy to hear about Cafe Pruvia; a lovely new cafe spot that specializes in both coffee and boba. Cafe Pruvia just opened up this May 2020 in Pacific Square in Gardena, California. Behind the cafe are three brothers from Manhattan Beach; Tyler, Kyle, and Cody Nakazaki. Tyler, Kyle and Cody wanted to have a spot that would cater to both boba lovers and coffee lovers. This is definitely my kinda place.

Unfortunately due to the pandemic; I’m not quite able to sit at the cafe, relax with a warm cup of coffee or refreshing boba like the old days. Nevertheless I was still able to enjoy some takeout from Cafe Pruvia recently.

My recent takeout consisted of two of their boba drinks from their Cafe Pruvia specials; the Taro Swirl with Boba and the Honeydew Swirl with Boba.

These drinks are absolutely gorgeous. They’re frappes swirled with house-made whip cream and then topped off with more whipped cream.

Not only do the drinks look good; they taste quite good too. It’s no surprise as the owners really studied what would be best for the menu. The whipped cream gives the perfect creamy texture. It’s very smooth. The flavors of the honeydew and taro are just right. It’s not too sweet and you really get the taste of honeydew and taro respectively. The freshly made boba is chewy and soft. The drinks are very well made.

Cafe Pruvia is a nice spot to get some quality drinks. Though one cannot sit and enjoy drinks at their neat cafe; their takeout is not a bad option at all. I’m happy to support this coffee/boba spot and looking forward to another delightful drink from here in the future. Coffee; next!
