Hello to a sugar, spice and hello kitty nice birthday!

Today was a truly sugar, spice and hello kitty nice birthday celebration for me.20130908-135428.jpg
I celebrated with one my favorite cakes ever: the paradise cake from King’s Hawaiian. It is a delicately soft cake filled with layers of guava, passion fruit and lime! The base of the cake is fluffy and moist. The fruit flavors are very distinct and divinely delicious. Each layer of this cake is heavenly. I really am a fan of the overall light feeling of this cake. It is not overly sweet and just has the right hint of the guava, passion fruit and lime. It truly is paradise in the form of a cake.

King’s Hawaiian has always been a favorite place of mine! I love their breakfast. The omelettes with their fried rice is suberb. The pumpkin muffin is so soft and moist! At lunch and dinner, I love their chicken katsu, loco moco and their potato macaroni salad. It is their paradise cake however that holds a special place in my heart though because I’ve had it in so many memorable and special moments.

This year as I celebrate another year, a piece of sweet paradise cake from King’s Hawaiian is just another sweet reminder that I am one blessed girl.
I am thankful for my friends and family for making each day sweet and special. Thank you all for making me smile today. Thank you as well to you, dear reader, for taking the time to visit my blog and read my posts!
